シェイディーキャラクターはかの”TartOptic社”に製造を依頼する形で ７０年代にマンハッタンでスタートしました。
２０１８年、アイウェアブランドネイティブサンズを手掛けるタミー・オガラ、
ザ・ブラック・キーズのビジュアルを手掛けるマイケル・カーニーという異色のデザインチームで再始動しています。


Shady Character originally started in Manhattan in the 70s, consigning the production to the noted “TartOptic”.
In 2018, the brand was revived by a unique artist team: Tommy O’Gara, the designer of Native Sons as the brand director
and Michael Carney, the artist of The Black Keys as the design director.
